I’m always on the look out for good Middle Grade horrors, especially as we come up to October, so as soon as I saw this on NetGalley I had to grab it.

Adam and his best friend, Sol, go camping with Sol’s parents and right from the start Adam is disappointed as he had the trip sold to him as glamping…

This is far from glamping, and Sol snores!

Stomping away in a bit of a huff on the first morning with Sol in tow they eventually make their way through the mysterious mists to a hidden, walled town.

Another fun adventure from Christopher Edge which is the first in a new series and leaves us with lots more to find out, especially with that ending.

Who is running the Darkive, what more spooky things are out there, will you ever play hide and seek again?

Great read but just a tad too short for my preferences.
