Soul Feeder

Best friends Caiden and Sam help out Caiden’s dad in his house clearing business and have come across some weird stuff doing that, but nothing measures up to this latest parcel of weirdness…

A house full of severed and mounted heads of no natural creatures the boys have seen or heard of before, cases of varied sacrificial knives, a broken rune-covered box in the basement, and the particularly strange and gruesome death of the house owner.

Then they take bits from the house back to their dad’s warehouse and this is where the fun really begins, trapped in with a demon! This is a nice claustrophobic section.

A fast-paced short adventure that was fun to read in one sitting, great pace and a nice level of threat, and the grotesque rat death was a fun addition.

This feels suspiciously like a setup for a new series of short demon hunting adventures! Especially with regard to the runes on the box in Mrs Kinski’s house.

I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
