Set on a beautiful island in gleaming seas full of life, the island is also full of adventure for Ali who knows the island off by heart and wants to share it with everyone else on the island but they are always far too busy.

One day the sea becomes empty! No fish, no crabs, no kraken, nothing!

This gives Ali and her father an opportunity to explore the island together and what a surprise they come across…

This is a beautifully illustrated book full of hidden treasures on each page with a wonderfully vibrant palette.

I loved exploring each of the pages to see what is hidden on it, some of it is just simple enough such as the wall of the harbour having fish shaped bricks in it, all the rabbits, and if you’re observant you will get the surprise early.

Loved this, full of fun and adventure and a message to us all to open our eyes and take in the wonder of the world around us all.
