White Shadows

A web of intrigue, backstabbing, throne-grabbing, and vile happening made this such a fun read!

Set in a medieval like world of rival kingdoms vying for the throne of a dying king, his son is taken by a “beast” and this kicks off a scramble for power.

Wonderfully illustrated episodes of intrigue and violence, characters showing up and disappearing, weaving ambitions, shifting alliances makes for a complicated read where you have to keep a close eye on the story threads.

There were also enough threads left loose that there could be many a continuation from this, which would be great as I’d love to see more of this world.
