Tornado (2025)
Been looking forward to this for quite a while as I kept missing it at the cinema, shifts, etc got in the way.
Found a copy at CEX for a steal!
It started in one of the ways I really dislike in films, halfway through the story with Tornado and a young boy on the run from a group of violent men.
Another thing, everything is brown, everything.
Tornado and father’s relation was really strange, never really got to the bottom of it.
Tim Roth is magnificent in it, really creepy with a restrained anger and penchant for violence.
I was expecting more of an action film but this was so slow and never really got to the pace I was expecting. It just kept getting more and more disjointed and had a weird tone to it.
Cinematography was excellent though, each scene a beautiful study in tension and suspense, I did enjoy it and it filled an hour and a half but it just never really took off for me.
