I was concentrating on taking photographs of closer aspects of the harbour with all the boats and fittings and this white blue just stood out in the sunshine.

Have you ever made a New Year’s Resolution that you kept?
I’ve kept the last one that I made, never to make a new year resolution again, as I always felt I was setting myself up for failure.
Health? Failure! Wealth? Failure! Happiness? Failure!
This all got a little boring so I decided not to play into this or the New Year New You narrative.
Felt much better ever since.
The High Priestess
This morning I was thinking about a focus for the year and what I should keep in mind and I drew The High Priestess, again I’m using The Sacred Rose Tarot.
intuition, sacred knowledge, divine feminine, the subconscious mind
Which is again encouraging as part of this year was to return to my witchy practice that I’ve tried to do for a few years on and off now.
This is reminding me to trust my subconscious and feminine side and that the knowledge is mine for the practice, I just have to put the practice in once more.
This daily draw is part of that.
A Gentle Rain
Had a quick game of “a Gentle Rain” as I was waiting for my food to heat up, I like this game as it is quite a gentle easy one with a good level of strategy with the tiles, I got a 7 not quite getting all the lotus blossom to open.

Whole afternoon and evening was thrown off kilter by having to clean up vomit at work this afternoon, the first time since leaving working in education, not toughened to it anymore shall we say…
Started writing about Screamadelica but fell asleep after dinner listening to podcasts that I will now have to listen to all over again as I think I probably fell asleep a minute into the first one.
