The Sacred Rose Tarot
Whenever I start to look at a deck I’m going to do an initial ‘interview’ with it.
This is where I’ll try to discover its energy and how I feel about it as a tool to use.
After a long shuffle I’ll make a five card draw and try to define;
- What is the energy of the deck?
- What is my initial energy when I interact with this deck?
- What might I learn about myself when using this deck?
- What kind of growth might this deck inspire in me?
- Card of the day
and only once I’ve done this initial interview will I start to write about the deck and use it or not.
I’ll be working through my current decks using this technique before acquiring any more new decks, this will embed this as a practice for ‘new’ new decks as I get them.
