Bridge Planet Nine

I’ve decided to go back to using NetGalley after it overwhelmed me a couple of months back and I’m gradually catching up with the books I’ve yet to finish.

This is another graphic novel that I got through NetGalley and IDW Publishing in exchange for an honest review and the first thing is, lost the large watermark it makes the advanced copy almost unreadable at times.

With that out the way we join our intrepid gang on a heist against the evil megacorp, Partna.

They are persuaded to visit a dead planet to try and steal a shipment of a rare metal ore, of course each has their own reasons to join the venture.

But things don’t go as planned (do they ever?) and they find that the planet that they are on isn’t as dead as they were led to believe.

A nice old school sci-fi heist story with graphics to match, minimal but with enough impact to expand and support the written story.

No real twists or anything unexpected but solidly executed and well worth a read.
