Snowed overnight, when I got up at 5ish to get a cup of tea it was so calm and beautiful, getting up now though (8ish) there is rain and it’s all looking a bit raggedy.

Another quiet day planned for today.

We were collecting up apples for the apple day at the allotment and when I went into the top shed I saw this view and just loved it.

Today’s draw from the Sacred Rose Tarot is The Empress

femininity, beauty, nature, nurturing, abundance

In its simplest form this is reinforcing that today is my day of nurturing myself, nice long bath in a moment, making bread, cooking meals for the freezer and for tonight, experimenting with a new recipe, and making the house nice for the week.

It is always good to connect with yourself through cooking, there is a fundamental reconnection to your nurturing side.

Also making an abundance of food for others is a giving act that is always appreciated, especially if it means there is food in the future when both of us are too busy to prep anything.
