A French-language RPG set in the American Wild West, using a system intended to be “simple and effective”. The basic rules (58 pages) includes only character creation, combat rules, a list of weapons, and a brief introductory scenario.

Description

On the 58 pages of the core book, there is an introduction and an introduction to the game with an example of how the game works (6 pages), and the different stages of character creation (characteristics, archetypes, skills, experience) on 21 pages. The firing simulation system is then detailed on 6 pages. Then come the actual combat system (4 pages), a description of weapons (6 pages), various animals (3 pages), and some information about the law and Indian tribes (4 pages). Finally, some advice to the leader (2 pages) then a succinct scenario (4 pages) and a little murderous for the players and a blank character sheet, finish the book.

“Murderer” is the idea of the game: the West was a harsh world for those who had chosen the “nomadic” life of adventurers, and this game tries to prove it. The introduction sets the tone: the reader ends his life with a bullet in the back in a filthy saloon because he looked like someone else and “on your grave he is engraved: a reckless man”.

The game is intended to be “simple and effective”: there are no historical references, no guide to the availability of weapons depending on the year, no maps, no detailed description of life in the West (except for the typical Indians), nor a presentation of professions and income. The book does not want to be encumbered by superfluous elements. Straight to the point, like the publisher’s motto: “never give up never compromise”.
